Stephanie did it again!!! A story filled with a rollercoaster of emotions and a truly wonderful love story. I generally have a hard time reading military stories only because of the pain that they exude. However, this one was very positive and uplifting. I loved the dynamic between Ace and Sadie. She’s been through so much pain and loss but then again…so has Ace. I think that is what brings these two together. Ace the Marine alpha ready to fight all of Sadie’s demons is so sweet but he really is a big teddy bear. His family is hysterical and hers is horrible. Between the two and with the support of their friends they were able to help mend each other and build a great foundation for their relationship, which seems to be a theme that is going on with Stephanie’s books. Family is the other key ingredient to Stephanie’s stories and it ties in with the stories so well. There wasn’t any described sex scenes except for a couple hot and heated scenes that didn’t quite get there. Again, like the first book it didn’t really need the scenes. Of course…I would love them but they are not necessary for this particular story. I loved everything about this story. I have a feeling I know who the next couple will be but I’m not exactly sure. I can’t wait to read it though if it is anything like this one. Definitely a book and now series I would recommend.Product details

The only thing I didn't like about the book was the Marines being called "soldiers" other then that it was perfect! Being a Marine myself, hearing the way Ace explained the way he feels was so true! Wonderful job again with this one! Now on to your next book!!!
Love this series one of those books that I will reread again
All of Stephanie's books are so well written and Chasing Ever After is no exception! I absolutely loved this book and never wanted it to end. Ace was such an amazing character in Finding Ever After and I was so excited to get to watch him fall in love! He did not disappoint at all by being so supportive and freaking cute that I want a real life Ace now. Sadie was another great character that has been through so much but still has a positive outlook on life. Her and Ace completed and had each other at hello! I can't wait for the books on the other band members! So excited to see that the series got extended to 6 books instead of 5! Definitely read anything this author writes!!
This girl can write, let me tell you! Three books later (this is the second in her Ever After series) and I'm still so engrossed and excited to see what else Stephanie has in store for her readers! If you've read Finding Ever After (which, let's be honest...you should have by now!) then you already know how kind-hearted Ace is - he is just such a likable character! Getting to experience the unfolding of his story, and Sadie's, was so sweet. It's a great love story, but it's also a tale of rising above the crummy hands we can be dealt in our lives. I LOVE that this is a story about persevering through less-than-stellar circumstances in hopes of building something truly amazing. These days a lot of people are under the misconception that love is easy, and if it's not easy then it's not 'right', but that couldn't be further from the truth. I adore the author's style of writing and how thoroughly she develops characters in her books - you feel every emotion that they feel, and that's the mark of a truly gifted writer. SO SO excited for more!
I love this book. The first Ashes and Embers book was fabulous but this one is just as brilliant. Ace and Sadie have both had great loss in their lives , and both have to do with the Marine Corp. They meet in Boston under terrible circumstances but Ace is taken by her immediately. Sadie is closed off to the idea of a relationship with a rockstar, or anyone for that matter. Ace has to work Sadie through her issues and find love and a life with her or he will chase her as long as it takes. A great love story, a great rockstar romance and another winner. I want more of this band!!
I loved Ace in Finding Ever After (Seriously amazing first book). So I've very excited for the story of Ace & Sadie since I found out about Chasing Ever After. I was NOT disappointed and you won't be either. Getting to know Ace and Sadie was amazing. As saddened as one would be over Sadie's family they'll fall in love with Ace's. All I'm going to say is Ace's grandma is halirious! The whole gang is back and I love them even more. On a personal note with a Marine as a brother I appreciated the truth in that portion of the story! I anxiously await more from this fantastic and gifted author.

As they find love. Book 2 is about Ace and Sadie both of whom have unfortunate pasts.
Sadie is reluctant to give bad boy Ace the time of day. She has lost love before and does not want the hurt again. She finds it harder to resist him as he seys about winning her over without seducing her.
Ace knows Sadie will be worth the wait. He has been engaged before and thought that was love...but the way he feels for Sadie over shadows that.
Chasing Ever After pulled me in quickly and left me ready for book 3 and 4. I can't get enough of this group of friends!
The characters are fun and relatable! The drama is high but thats the way I like it. From a Octopus named Barneby to tight clothes,ugg wearing grandma to pretension twins...This story is everything! Funny, sad, tragic but with a HEA!
